In September 2020, Colabit Sweden AB acquired Norrsundets Hamn AB to gain full control over the land area within the Port of Norrsundet and the area for the planned biorefinery for renewable fuels.
Colabit divides its operations into three business areas: Production, Port and Licensing.
Our pilot plant to produce HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oils) as well as renewable gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.
The company is also working on developing a biorefinery to produce renewable petrol, diesel and jet fuel.
The port business area includes the Port of Norrsundet, which is owned, managed and developed by Colabit Sweden. In addition to Colabit’s operations, there are a number of external tenants who run various businesses.
The Port of Norrsundet is where Colabit’s pilot facilities are established. It is also the location where our full-scale biorefinery is being developed.
The Licensing business area is in an early phase and manages the sale of sub-licenses for the technology on which Colabit’s production process is based.
We aim to sell licenses to other fuel producers.
